    Work location is The Woodlands, TX, or Allentown, PA. Client is seeking an experienced Plant Layout and Piping Designer for a direct hire role. You will help support proposal management for future sale-of-gas and sale-of-plant opportunities. You'll be pivotal in managing plant design deliverables across all phases of assigned projects, from Proposal preparation to Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Construction.

    responsibilities

    • Support Piping Design and Plant Layout activities for assigned projects and proposals.

    • Lead the development of technical proposal deliverables in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

    • Develop and maintain standard methodology (CAD Work Instructions) for piping design.

    • Prepare and review project documents, including line lists, valve schedules, and 3D modeling extracts.

    • Execute operations capital projects and support internal standard development activities.

    • Collaborate with engineering resources for procurement, fabrication, and construction packages.

    • Facilitate design reviews at various stages and ensure constructability.

    Qualifications

    • Associate's Degree or Technical Design Drafting Education, or equivalent work experience.

    • 15+ years' experience in LNG, Natural Gas, Refining, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, or Industrial Gas Industry.

    • Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations related to facility design.

    • Familiarity with International Codes and Standards.

    • Proficiency in relevant codes such as B31.3, B16.5, OSHA, NFPA, etc.

    • Effective computer skills, including Plant 3D, Microsoft Office, Procorr, and other discipline-specific software.

    • Proficiency in 2D/3D Plant design software such as SmartPlant 3D, SmartPlant Review, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and/or MicroStation.

    • Understanding and application of engineering discipline deliverables.
