  • Ford Model E is responsible for developing the key technologies and capabilities - such as EV platforms, batteries, e-motors, inverters, charging and recycling - to create ground-up, breakthrough electric vehicles.     What you'll be able to do:

    • In collaboration with Marketing, Engineering, Program Management and all attribute owners, ensure the PLM data accurately captures and aligns with the build variants and configurations, including markets, colors and materials, etc.

    • Execute change management of multi-level Bills of Material, in close collaboration with all stakeholders

    • Maintain and update the program Plan of Record, in lock step with change management

    • Ensure the accuracy of the vehicle Bill of Materials at all times

    • Provide adhoc training on the change control process to engineers and operations teams

    • Provide project readiness and checkpoint completion / progress data to program management and leadership teams

    • Provide support on engineering activities such as part & BOM creation as well as initial BOM releases

    • Provide input to the Digital Transformation team to ensure sufficient and appropriate digital PLM tools are in place

    The minimum requirements we seek:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or Associates degree with sufficient experience)

    • Experience with PLM tools, Change Control and Configuration Management in an automotive setting

    • Demonstrated understanding of what constitutes Bills of Material and Product Lifecycle Management standards

    • Understanding of, and experience with, PLM/MRP/ERP systems

    • Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team

    • Strong attention to detail

    • Proficiency with Excel
