Job Title : Janitor-- Aiken, SC

Job Summary : MOR PPM, Inc. seeks a Janitor in Aiken, SC. A custodian will perform continuous daily heavy cleaning duties to maintain a safe and clean facility. A Janitor will practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures; comply with all customer rules and safety procedures and policies. Must notify managers concerning the need for repairs, slip hazards, or any safety problems as necessitated. This is a tobacco free facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and vacuuming floors.

2. Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors. Gathering and emptying trash, including recycling.

3. Cleaning and polishing furniture and fixtures.

4. Servicing, cleaning, and supplying restrooms.

5. Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.

6. Dusting furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.

7. Cleaning laboratory equipment, such as glassware and metal instruments, using solvents, brushes, rags, and power cleaning equipment.

8. Mixing water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.

Experience:

Minimum of 6-months relevant experience required.

Qualifications & Skills:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:

• Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign

• May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds

• Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above

• Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas

• Must have full range of motion consistent with age

• Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders

• Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises

• Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces

• Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
