    A Principal Cloud Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services within Teamcenter organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Cloud Architecture Design: Design and architect cloud-based solutions, including software as a service (SaaS) and infrastructure as service (IaaS) offerings.

    • Implementation and Deployment: Lead the implementation and deployment of cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security best practices are followed.

    • Automation: Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes within the cloud environment.

    • Cloud Optimization: Optimize cloud resources for performance, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency, including monitoring and tuning cloud services as needed.

    • Security and Compliance: Implement security controls, encryption, and access management mechanisms to protect cloud-based assets and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

    • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and security professionals, to support cloud-based applications and services.

    • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to cloud computing, and propose and implement improvements to enhance the organization's cloud capabilities.

    • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, guidelines, and procedures related to cloud infrastructure and services.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

    • Several years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions.

    • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including hands-on experience with cloud services, networking, and security.

    • Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python) for automation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) development.

    • Knowledge of DevOps principles and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, version control) for continuous integration and deployment.

    • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.

    • Understanding of networking concepts, virtualization, and storage technologies in cloud environments.

    • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

    The salary range for this position is $145,700 to $262,300 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
