    How you'll make an impact:

    • Execute continuous operational improvements without compliance risks and following Lean/Six Sigma approaches, methodologies, and techniques.

    • Lead the Idea Program at the site and monitor progress and Generate Monthly report for management.

    • Support deployment of Lean capability building blocks in the lean transformational plan.

    • Lead Transformational kaizens and train kaizen leaders across all value streams to achieve A3 objectives.

    • Lead the organization in enabling daily kaizen at all levels where all employees live into the ideal of "improving the work is the work".

    • Perform line balancing and eliminate waste using lean methodology.

    • Drive value improvement through cycle time optimization & waste elimination.

    • Lead 6S program initiatives and transformations within Irvine Manufacturing areas.

    • Provide mentorship to Yellow Belt and Green Belt candidates and support Certification program at the site.

    • Able to train employees in Yellow Belt and lean tool sets (8 Type of waste, SMED, Standard work, line balancing, VSM, Pull System, TPM).

    • Support development and Execution of Edwards Production System at the site.

    • Lead Quarterly lean audits and provide report to value stream manager on the Results and improvement areas.

    • Mentor value stream improvement Engineers in continuous improvement methodologies (A3 management / kaizens / Problem solving / lean training).

    • Work seamlessly with cross functional team members within and across other value streams.

    • Lead Transformational Projects that impact multiple sites Globally.

    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    What you'll need (Required):

    • Bachelor's degree in engineer or scientific with 6 years of lean manufacturing experience.

    • On-site required.

    What else we look for (Preferred):

    • Advanced degree and/or Industrial Engineering degree.

    • Lean or Six Sigma certifications.

    • Class II or Class III medical device industry.

    • Engineering methods (e.g., Six Sigma and LEAN methods) for problem solving and continuous process improvement.

    • Technical capability in Industrial Engineering and simulation software's.

    • Process and design excellence methodologies to optimize processes and Operations Efficiency.

    • Design for Manufacturability, Industrial Engineering and lean experience leading to manufacturing efficiency improvement.

    • PLM and ERP systems knowledge to effectively execute and lead system integration efforts.

    • Experience of business systems, quality systems, finance, and product cost structure modification.

    • Knowledge of cGMP, EHS guidelines, FDA guidelines, QSR, FMEA, statistical techniques, Supplier Quality and Process Validation (IQ, OQ, PQ and PPQ).

    • Solid project management and team leadership skills leading to substantial cost savings.

    • Establishes and manages project plans to ensure deliverables are completed to customer's expectations.

    • Software knowledge related to ERP systems, statistical tools, project management, and CAD.

    • Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management.

    • Advanced problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

    • Dashboard creation, reports and data visualization with Tableau and/or Power BI.

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence others at all levels.

    For California], the base pay range for this position is $115,000 to $163,000(highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
