    We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Principal Software Engineer to lead the technical direction and development efforts of our advanced conversational AI and clinical automation platforms. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, architecting, and delivering sophisticated software solutions that bridge the gap between AI technology and healthcare excellence.

    Responsibilities

    • Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and technical leadership to cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and healthcare experts in the design, development, and deployment of innovative software solutions.

    • Architectural Vision: Define and drive the architectural vision and roadmap, ensuring scalability, extensibility, and maintainability.

    • System Design: Lead the design and implementation of complex software systems, considering factors such as performance, security, and integration with healthcare systems.

    • Collaboration: Partner with product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with the company's strategic goals.

    • Innovation: Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating new advancements into our products and driving innovation in healthcare technology.

    • Mentorship: Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and growth.

    • Code Quality: Ensure adherence to coding standards, perform code reviews, and implement best practices to maintain high-quality codebases.

    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges, make informed decisions, and drive successful project outcomes.

    • Public Cloud SaaS, PaaS Services and/or related technology experience, Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

    • 8+ years of experience in cloud development, architecture, and deployment.

    • Strong development experience in Java, C++, C#, or similar OO languages

    • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

    • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals

    • Experience driving feature design reviews, documentation, UX reviews, and working with Product Managers through the entire launch process.

    • Good understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies

    • Working familiarity with protocols (TCP/IP, WEBSOCKET) and standard network architectures

    • Experience building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure a strong plus

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

    Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

    Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

    8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
