Process Engineer

Our client, an Aerospace Manufacturer, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer or Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing team supporting the production process. The ideal candidate will have Process, Sand Casting and Aluminum experience which will align successfully in the organization.

Sponsorship is not available for this role. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent and consistent basis without company sponsorship now and in the future.

Title: Manufacturing Engineer or Process Engineer

Location: Cudahy, CA (relocation available)

Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000k per year DOE (can also earn quarterly bonus per company performance)

What's the Job?

• Responsible for the development of super alloy sand castings.

• Develop work instructions, maintain and teach "best practice" investment casting procedures and practices

• Responsible for customer interfacing. Must be able to interpret customer specifications relative to establishing internal written NDT specifications.

• Knowledgeable in metallurgy, aluminum alloy solidification basics and basic metallographic knowledge to interpret alloy phases and conditions.

• Lead and implement root cause and corrective action.

What's Needed?

• BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, Material Science or Metallurgy preferred

• 5+ years of manufacturing and process engineering with sand casting or other casting experience

• Experience with aluminum and aluminum alloys

• Strong manufacturing and process engineering skills
