We are looking for an enthusiastic Project Manager with experience coordinating multiple programs and ensuring best practices are adopted. This position requires a well-rounded individual who is meticulous in detail, while guiding multiple teams. We need someone who can thrive in an unstructured, collaborative environment and can distill complex problems into actionable work and help drive projects to completion.
Project manage multiple and potentially global, concurrent purchasing related projects (portfolios) crossing both technical and process initiatives.
Interface with technical and business focused teams to identify needs, define gaps, and manage project requirements
Define, manage and create project scope; review with management for approval
Develop and manage the detailed project Gantt and process-flow charts. Analyze critical path and major workstreams
Develop a project team list with cross-functional staffing requirements. Define the role, responsibility and deliverables for each team member. Provide direct feedback to functional manager on performance reviews
You will support roadmap planning and define templates to capture business value and articulate return on investment
Monitor business transformation projects to ensure methodology and standard operating mechanisms are met
Identify project / program bottlenecks and actively communicate and monitor resolutions
Collaborate with internal clients to understand current processes, potential improvements, process wish list and recommend improvements
Develop appropriate communication plans using various approaches and median
Publish reports and metrics showing planned impact on existing process improvements and benefits for new processes
Develop training material (Process Procedures, VOD, FAQ's, etc.)
Create a risk management plan for the project. Identify, analyze and understand project risks and develop a risk response plan.
Work cross-functionally and across geographies
Skilled in collaborative team building
PMP certification a plus
SCRUM knowledge a plus
Experience in Procure to Pay business processes
Experience managing global projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; Excel required
4+ years project/program management experience (Knowledge of PM software and Resource Planning Tools preferred)
Strong analytic, planning, and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
