  • Job Summary: Operates machines and production equipment independently in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment and may instruct or coach others.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE):

    • Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.

    • Report any work-related injury, illness, incident, or hazard.

    • Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations.

    • Use appropriate personal protective equipment.

    • Engage in HSE Training.

    • Quality:

    • Follow all applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke, and visual standards.

    • Raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.

    • Perform quality inspections and identify and control non-conforming material.

    • Delivery:

    • Operate equipment independently to manufacture and assemble products to meet customer expectations.

    • Instruct and coach others and act as an informal resource for team members.

    • Achieve production goals and work at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.

    • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, perform routine housekeeping tasks, machine cleaning tasks, and planned operator care and maintenance tasks.

    • Remain flexible and perform other miscellaneous duties as required to meet production goals.

    • Work with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair.

    • Teamwork:

    • Communicate effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.

    • Complete training and personal development in line with business requirements.

    • Education, Licenses, Certifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent experience.

    • May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

    • Experience:

    • Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

    Additional Manager Notes

    • Day-to-Day:

    • Operate a semi-automatic machine, load components, conduct measurements and checks, perform laser engraving for date stamping, and package products for shipping.

    • Prior Experience:

    • Previous experience in manufacturing or lab settings is beneficial.

    • Seeking someone willing and eager to learn and grow.

    • Hours: Monday - Friday, 6AM - 4PM or 5AM - 5PM.

    • Interviews: 1-hour Zoom interviews will be scheduled when the manager is ready.
