    Role Profile

    Position: Production Technician

    Job Location: Pasadena, TX (Branham)

    Job Type: Full-Time

    Status: Non-Exempt

    Summary of the Role

    This position is typically responsible for a variety of tasks that are manufacturing or distribution based and may include assembling and manufacturing hoses. The role includes operation of machinery including testing high pressure hoses.

    Responsibilities

    • Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.

    • Prepares and delivers vendor managed inventory items to customers as needed.

    • Maintains 100% quality per Work Order/Job Sheet requirements.

    • Operates basic mechanical equipment such as hand tools and measuring devices.

    • Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements

    • Maintains productivity standards

    • Perform all tests specified by the attached "Test Certificates" as specified in the Work

    • Order

    • Ensure all testing equipment (pressure Gauges) are calibrated before each use

    • Submit all completed work to finishing department

    • Maintain all shop locations in a neat, clean and orderly fashion

    • Must sign off on In-Process Inspection Report. Stamp Assembly Certificate of Compliance if tested internally

    • Assists with physical inventory

    • Performs other related duties as required

    Skills and Abilities

    • Possess excellent motivation to meet/exceed customer requirements

    • Ability to read and understand Work Orders and Job Sheets.

    • Requires a proficiency in math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure. Additionally, must be able to perform calculations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.

    • Basic mechanical skills including the use of hand tools.

    • Ability to operate or learn to operate basic machinery as well as more advanced machinery such as all winding machines.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Must be at least 18 years of age

    • High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience

    • Reliable transportation is a must

    • Must be able to work independently

    • 1-2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting

    • Ability to interact professionally with all employees and customers

    • Ability to work overtime, as required

    • Ability to pull, push, grasp, bend, lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently on a repeated basis

    • Ability to consistently move throughout facility and customers during the full workday

    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

    • Must have a mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn about how our products are produced on equipment

    • Basic Microsoft Excel skills

    • Basic math skills

    • Properly measure with a tape measure

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 3+ years of production experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting

    • Requires excellent verbal and written communications skills

    • Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance

    • Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills

    • Requires ability to organize and prioritize workload and be able to interact effectively with all types of people in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
