Professional Land Surveyor

System One is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor for an Engineering firm located in Tulsa, OK.

Responsibilities:

• Provide honest and unbiased analysis and consultation on various land surveying related issues.

• Write and submit detailed and accurate reports on completed projects in a timely manner in accordance with company guidelines.

• Provide excellent customer service to both the company's internal and external customers.

• Analyze reports, maps, drawings, aerial photographs, and other topographic drawings to plan and design projects.

• Calculate cost, determine feasibility of project based on analysis of collected data, and prepare detailed cost estimates.

• Meet with client periodically to coordinate changes, inform client of additional requirements, receive input from the client, answer client questions, and resolve issues.

• Coordinate project activity with appropriate officials, support staff, subcontractors, labs, and other entities.

• Track project progress and prepare reports of activity in accordance with regulations, company policy and client needs.

• Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare documents.

• Proficient at using word processing software such as Word.

• A working knowledge of spreadsheet software such as Excel is helpful.

Job Requirements

• Applicant must be a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in Oklahoma and Kansas or have ability to obtain a license in a short period of time.

• Must be extremely well organized with the ability to deliver fast and accurate turnaround times.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be team oriented and enjoy service-oriented type of work.

• Must have superior customer service skills.

• Must have excellent overall computer skills.

• Must have the ability to work efficiently with little or no supervision.
