Program Accounting - Naval Shipyard (NAVSEA 04X) Program Support

Responsibilities

Noblis MSD's mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) objectives to design, build, deliver and maintain ships, submarines, and systems reliably, on-time and on-cost for the Navy. We are looking to hire a Program Accountant for scientific, engineering, technical, and analytical (SETA) support to NAVSEA 04X and the Naval Shipyards.

The Program Accountant will provide program management accounting for the US Navy Shipyards in support of NAVSEA Directorate SEA 04X (Industrial Operations). The successful candidate may manage projects and/or processes and will provide direct support to the Noblis Program Manager in the execution of the following program objectives:

• Providing organizational assistance/facilitation services to tie business process and performance support of Navy maintenance activities

• Providing support for data gathering, analysis, and recommendations concerning various project management systems used by the Naval Shipyards

• Support for project execution, including program infrastructure assistance, process administration, organizational and technical implementation and governance to evolve/improve processes and performance to achieve Program objectives

• Accounting of all non-government and leased computers to meet security requirements for access to the Navy Enterprise

• Provide administrative, financial, logistical, and management support for the SEA04X training and project support program

• Coordination and hosting of quarterly program reviews to assess effectiveness of contract performance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a related filed. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors.

• 5-7 years minimum experience supporting broader naval maintenance and/or Naval Shipyards (or related field)

• DOD SECRET Security Clearance

• Use of MS Office Suite tools with particular focus MS Excel skills

• Drafting and delivering technical presentations

• Appropriate written and verbal communication skills to interact with U.S. Navy personnel

• Familiarity with public naval shipyards operational/management structure and strategic initiatives, CNO availability planning and execution (CONUS and OCONUS), NAVSEA strategic initiatives and insertion into naval shipyards.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis' total compensation package for employees.

USD $55,440.00 - USD $97,020.00 /Yr.
