Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a Program Manager with an interest in military avionics to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of a military avionics production program. This position will have direct interface with customers, suppliers, and internal leadership.

Essential Functions:

• Manage programs through the integration of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) processes and procedures- Work effectively within a matrix organization to ensure all resources (i.e. engineering, supply chain, and facilities) are available to support the program- Foster a culture of trust

• Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders- Understand and manage the contract baseline utilizing change management processes- Manage program risks, opportunities, and issues following a structured risk management process- Analyze and summarize performance data- Identify trends and communicate findings to internal leadership and customers- Proactively work with team to establish goals and drive favorable outcomes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant project or program management experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience- Experience leading cross functional teams- Experience with EVMS and Risk & Opportunity Management- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 product suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint- Familiarity with cost rolling waves and baseline process

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)- Outstanding work ethic and commitment to organizational success- Experience working in a manufacturing environment- Experience working with military avionics- Proposal preparation and negotiation experience
