Programmer Analyst

Description

We are seeking a Programmer Analyst to join our team in the steel manufacturing industry based in Toledo, Ohio. This role primarily involves supporting our custom ERP system and will require you to work on bug fixing and feature enhancement. You will be working with a Windows desktop application built in C++, C#, and Sybase, tailored for the steel industry.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain our custom ERP system

• Develop and implement bug fixes and feature enhancements

• Work extensively with desktop application development using C# and Sybase

• Utilize your skills in C++, Database, and Coding to improve system efficiency

• Work with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL - Transact-SQL for database management

• Assist in planning and implementing ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning strategies

• Collaborate with the team to ensure that the ERP system is functioning optimally and meeting business needs.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Programmer Analyst, preferably in the Steel Manufacturing industry.

• Must possess strong skills in C++, Database management, Coding, and Microsoft SQL Server.

• Proficiency in C# is a key requirement.

• Should have extensive experience with T-SQL - Transact-SQL.

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems is necessary.

• Proficiency in Sybase is expected.

• Must have the ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically are required.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly is a must.

• Knowledge of industry-specific software and applications is desirable.
