Project Engineer

Description

• Candidate is hiring a Project Engineer that will drive the execution of all engineering responsibilities on the program while meeting both internal and external customer expectations.

• Drive world class project management process using integrated scheduling, earned value management, and risk and opportunity management

• Work collaboratively with other Engineering disciplines Systems, Software, Mechanical, and Electrical), Programs, Production, Quality and Supply Chain to develop an integrated execution plan to satisfy customer requirements across applicable operating conditions

• Facilitate project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.

• Track team's integrated execution performance to plan

• Analyze, identify, and address execution problems, recommend and implement resolutions to ensure the successful completion of project(s)

Qualifications

• Aerospace Background is required

• Bachelor's degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM))

• Experience in the design, development, and qualification of space-qualified ECLSS, thermal management, or similarly complex electro-mechanical systems

• Exceptional organizational, analytical, written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize both daily issues and strategize longer term projects

• Superior interpersonal and influencing skills, including coaching and mentoring of other engineering staff

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
