  • Description

    We have an immediate need for a Project Manager to join our customer's PMO team. This consultant will take on PM functions supporting the ServiceNow team. The Project Manager will lead daily standups and over see releases being performed by the team. This role is responsible for managing client expectations, planning, monitoring, controlling, and reporting on the project to meet agreed deliverables, scheduled timeframes, and allocated budgets.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and implementation of projects to ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished efficiently within designated timeframes, efficiency metrics, and budgets.

    • Develop, monitor, and manage an implementation schedule/project plan in the standard tools to ensure delivery of the defined scope

    • Identify and obtain any internal resources necessary for a successful project.

    • Keep up-to-date (weekly) progress on the project in standard artifacts to ensure accurate reporting and issue management

    • Organize and lead meetings with key stakeholders as needed and discuss issues, risk, resolutions, possible mitigation plans and workarounds as needed with effective follow-ups.

    • Publish meeting minutes to summarize the topics discussed with action items.

    • Lead all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.

    • Able to handle multiple fast-moving projects at the same time & keep up with the project status on daily basis.

    • Work collaboratively with managed service partners, customers & other teams through all the phases of the project.

    • Completes after-action reviews/lessons learned on projects.

    • Assess, manage, resolve, and escalate (if necessary) risks and issues.

    • Flexible and agile to adapt to structure & processes in place.

    • Contributes to ongoing improvement cycle of implementation processes and ensures it is aligned with integration best practices and utilizes clear standards and templates.

    Requirements

    • Degree or Equivalent in Education and Experience

    • Preferred PMI-PMP experience or certification

    • Preferred experience in the ServiceNow space

    • Exceptional communications skills written and verbal, able to drive change in uncertain circumstances.

    • Strong Project Management Skills and experience in managing scope, timeframes, stakeholders, and resources to achieve objectives.

    • Superior prioritization, analytical, interpersonal, and follow-up skills

    • Expert in Microsoft Office Tools (MS Project, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Azure DevOps Boards or Jira etc.)

    • Ability to work in a team environment
