    Junior Project Manager Task Lead

    KBR is seeking a Project Manager/Task Lead to provide project management support to multiple Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) customers at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

    Duties

    • Responsible for the overall performance of all task orders assigned

    • Works closely with the Government customer to establishing project objectives, plans, and budgets

    • Performs analytical, planning, presentation, and problem-solving

    • Gains internal support to operate and establish strong working relationships with customers, technical staff, managers, and peers

    • Performs a range of project management activities, such as: gathering a variety of program information; conducting analyses; developing program strategies; tracking, and scheduling; establishing and maintaining databases

    • Developing program documentation to support Request for Proposal, author Statement of Work for subcontractors

    • Manage multiple funding streams to include coordinating with Government customer to properly allocate funding to purchases and projects

    • Supervise employees to include timecard approval, performance reviews, hiring actions

    • Manage subcontractor on-boarding and execution, deliverable submission, cost/schedule/performance, and closeout activities

    • Brief program requirements and schedules to a variety of customers

    • Coordinate efforts and maintain effective working relationships with AFRL management and technical leads

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or in lieu of degree 8-10 years of directly related experience of USAF or DoD acquisition experience.

    • Clearance: Secret

    • Highly effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, and group leadership skills are required

    • Effective, proven ability in decision making, problem solving, and influencing others

    • Ability to reliably operate in a complex and changing environment demonstrating solid independent judgment

    • Excellent knowledge of MS office, especially Microsoft Excel to build and maintain spreadsheets for tracking of customer priorities

    • Ability to interpret, capture, and manage customer requirements and expectations
