Project Process Engineer

Job Description

A petrochemical plant in Pasadena, TX, is seeking a Project Process Engineer to join their team. This individual will be responsible for meeting with the project team regularly to help develop scopes of work and frame projects. They will be pulling drawings and MF's from the library to do redlines and markup drawings. This individual will work with vendors to create estimates and put together bid packages, etc.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's in Chemical, Mechanical, OR Electrical Engineering

10+ years of experience in FEL-1 (front end loading in the development of projects)

Experience framing out projects, developing scopes of work, creating high level milestone schedules, redlining MF's and construction drawings

Understands and knows how to get 50% cost estimates

Experience managing process design packages

Familiar with process flow diagrams and plot plans

Confirming deliverables for 6 resins

Identifying FEL's

Ability to present projects in a PPT

Ability to identify necessary training requirements for new projects

Ability to develop PEP (project execution plan) Experience doing front end loading for chemical, mechanical, and I&E projects null
