  • Description

    -Regularly engage with manufacturing plants & distribution facility to resolve any supply disruptions - Utilize plant quality data to monitor disruptions, drive root cause, and implement corrective action(s) (8D process) - Manage and improve quality for various commodities: Molded plastics, engines, hydraulics, castings, and metal fabrication. - New Supplier Assessments for purpose of providing input on sourcing decisions - Assess capabilities with respect to quality management systems, capacity, & technology - Supplier Visits - Conduct metrics/corrective action reviews, assess processes & capabilities as well as strengthening supplier relationships - Train suppliers and hold them accountable to Tennant's supplier manual & expectations

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    -Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline -Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Quality Engineering preferred -4 years' minimum experience in supply and/or quality within an engineering or manufacturing environment -MS Office, SAP or related ERP experience -Ability to read / interpret engineering drawings, requirements and specifications
