Quality Engineer

Description

Participates in manufacturing and production readiness reviews and the development of customer specific Quality Control Plans and requirements Completes and assists the AS9102 First Article Inspections to contract and prints, ensuring conformance to specifications Manages, analyzes, and publishes Quality Assurance Reports for assigned projects including process yields, defect/root cause analysis and associated corrective actions Analyzes process, product, and component performances to identify continuous improvement opportunities and participates with program teams to drive high product quality, continuous improvement, and increased customer satisfaction Interfaces with customers related to quality issues and assists in the failure analysis efforts for non-conformances and field returns, implementing appropriate corrective and preventive action Generates procedures, process alerts, deviations, purges, and other process documentation including evaluation, approval, implementation, and verification of ECO's Designs and implements methods and procedures for testing and inspecting the quality level of products and production equipment

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must: 3+ years of quality engineering experience Experience with electronic components and assemblies; electronics manufacturing Bachelors Degree Experience with data-driven analytical methodologies for manufacturing, especially Statistical Process Control (SPC), Gage R&R, Six Sigma, Process Capability (Cp, CpK), and/or Process Performance (Pp, PpK) Analysis
