    PeaceHealth is seeking a Quality Facilitator Senior - Quality Improvement for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The general salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $36.55 - $54.83. The actual hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the job/position responsibilities, location, terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement, education, training, work experience, seniority, work performance, etc.

    Job Summary

    Responsible to support quality improvement initiatives across the PeaceHealth continuum.

    Responsible to collaborate with Quality counterparts across PeaceHealth to focus on producing improvements which lead to excellent patient care, experience, and outcomes using standardized tools.

    Supports facilitation of a diverse group of caregivers to successfully plan and execute clinical improvement projects/programs ensuring alignment with Quality and Patient Safety Plan.

    Essential Functions

    -

    Primary responsibility to learn and understand the broad Quality Management System. Develop the skill at internal auditing, observation of process, process mapping, and action planning.

    -

    Research, monitor, and assess applicability of new improvement methods and techniques. Participates in quality teams and committees as assigned.

    -

    Provide assistance in adaptation and adoption of methods that enable the organization to accelerate improvement.

    -

    Use standardized improvement methodologies across system and networks. Deliberately use common techniques and language in improvement methodologies. Support project management including tracking and reporting.

    -

    Coordinate information pulled from data sources and assist in the interpretation of information.

    -

    Assist in evaluating processes against benchmark data, regulatory compliance, and patient safety.

    -

    Develop an understanding of the organization's analytic environment to help guide data driven decision making and inform quality improvement initiatives.

    -

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    Education

    • Bachelor's Degree Required.

    • Master's Degree Preferred: or advanced training

    Experience

    • Minimum of 3 years Quality or process improvement experience required; preferably hospital or health system related.

    Skills

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Required)

    • Strong organizational and analytical skills. (Required)

    • Conflict management and group facilitation skills. (Required)

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and display flexibility in a fast paced and changing work environment. (Required)

    • Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio required and competency with other project management software. (Required)

    • Demonstrated knowledge of basic statistical analysis tools. (Required)

    • Broad knowledge of quality improvement tools and practices including but not limited to lean, process improvement. (Required)

    • Excellent skill in managing complex programs and projects, specifically with a focus on quality improvement activities, and demonstrated successful completion of quality improvement projects with desired outcomes. (Required)

    Working Conditions

    Lifting

    • Consistently operates computer and other office equipment.

    • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

    • Sedentary work.

    Environmental Conditions

    • Predominantly operates in an office environment.

    • Some time spent on site in medical/hospital setting.

    Mental/Visual

    • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

    • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
