    The primary responsibility of the Quality Supervisor is to continuously strive to improve business processes with an emphasis on meeting customer expectations. The use of structured quality investigative tools is required when opportunities are presented from internal and external customers. The Quality Supervisor will develop new processes and re-evaluate existing processes to produce outcomes that meet business expectations.

    YOUR IMPACT

    • Support Quality and Safety initiatives throughout the facility.

    • Ensure that proper containment is implemented and review corrective actions as defined.

    • Focus on process controls and consistent quality results in assembly areas.

    • Must have experience with and be able to exhibit the use of structured problem-solving techniques.

    • Perform process audits.

    • Analyze assembly quality results and define next steps for Quality Tech team to implement.

    • Coordinate shift expectations with quality team daily.

    • Accurately maintain QMS records and documents in accordance with ISO9001:2008 requirements

    • Understand the expectations of ISO9001/ QMS documentation for quality improvement.

    • Lead and support Quality Techs in the investigation process and ensure the correct steps for corrective action are being followed.

    • Meet with team daily to analyze defects and introduce problem solving areas of focus.

    • Directly supervise team members, including hiring, training, and performance management.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with quality systems, standards, and business processes.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Previous experience in quality control or supervision.

    • Proficiency in quality systems, statistical processes, and policies.

    • ISO9001:2015 QMS knowledge and understanding.

    • Strong analytical skills.

    • Attention to detail.

    • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

    STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

    • Associate degree in a related field.

    • Advanced Quality training or ASQ certifications

    • Must interpret basic technical drawings for specification requirements in relation to product and process characteristics.

    • ASQ Certification in an approved discipline.

    • Six Sigma Green belt.

    • Physical Demands: Always Visual, Standing, Reaching, Fine Dexterity, Manual Dexterity; Upper Extremity Repetitive Motion, Lifting/Carrying up to 50lbs; Frequent Walking/Running, Climbing; Occasional Hearing, Talking, Bending/Kneeling, Pushing/Pulling up to 40lbs; Seldom Sitting, Driving, Typing.

    • Non-Physical Demands : Always Math/Mental Computation, Reading; Frequent Analysis/Reasoning, Communication/Interpretation; Writing.

    • Environmental Demands : Always Task Changes, Dust, Temperature Extremes; Frequent Work Alone, Loud Noises, Toxic Substances (i.e., solvents, pesticides, etc.); Seldom Tedious/Exacting Work, High Volume Public Contact, Physical Danger.

    • Work Schedule: Considerable irregularity of hours due to frequent overtime, weekend or shift rotation.

    • Demands/Deadlines: Occasional stress due to deadlines or workload because of intermittent or cyclical work pressures, or occasional exposure to distressed individuals within the immediate work environment.
