Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM GBS Security Strategy & Growth (SS&G) is looking for a Red Hat Open Shift Security Architect who can lead Red Hat Openshift Container-based Cloud Platform (OCP) security services architecture design and development. Responsible for leading OCP security offerings and support go-to-market and deal solution management. Serves as the security leader when collaborating with other CSPs.
Specific responsibilities will include
Manage and advance OCP security offerings and solution to drive business growth,
As a SME to lead security discussion with clients,
Support deal solution strategy, development, pricing and approval processes to drive complete security solutions integration into cloud deals,
Support the continual advancement, and development OCP Service platform architecture
Lead the security discussion and collaboration with other CSPs.
Responsibilities will also include bringing Red Hat security capabilities and offerings to the opportunities, meet with clients for direct conversations around security offerings, and provide input to specific opportunities. Support incorporation of security into the overall architecture. Work with GBS Partners/Associate Partners to identify new and add on opportunities to include security in Red Hat opportunities.
You should be passionate about Cloud Technologies, Edge Computing, IoT, national security, microelectronics, Automation and AI.
This person will report to the IBM GBS Security Strategy & Growth (SSG) team. The security architect will work with various IBM entities including GBS and IBM Security Business Unit and across functional teams such as the Geo Route to Market (RTM) leads, solution engineers, Solution and Innovation Hub, training, communications, etc.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
10+ years experience in leading architecture and design for cybersecurity systems and operation in complex IT environments.
10+ years experience as a security consultant for industries in global government and/or private sector.
Individual should possess minimum of 1 Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) and 1 of the other technical credentials (Red Hat, AWS, Google, etc.).Proven cybersecurity knowledge and experience in design and develop security controls and operation capabilities for multiple cloud platforms including the use of Red Hat OpenShift, large-scale virtualization, mainframe, and technologies used across multiple cloud domains.
Experience in developing different cloud service platforms including IaaS, SaaS, PaaS and enabling successful migration to multi-cloud
Hands on experience in driving security compliance and quality at the enterprise level.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
2-5 years experience in Cloud architect and design experience, Red Hat system architect and design,system engineering, security audit, team management CISO.
