Job Description

An employer based out of the Los Angeles, CA area is looking for a .Net Developer to work for a large provider of government health and occupational services. This candidate will be joining the software development team to make adjustments/enhancements to the current web based and desktop applications and to assist with new projects as they come. The candidate will be in charge of designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software. 80% of the development will be done on the backend (Oracle) and about 20% will be front end development. This candidate must have experience in an Agile environment as they will be joining an existing scrum team made up of 4 developers, 2 QA, 1 PO, and 1 Scrum Master. In order to maintain the current 2 week sprint tempo, this candidate must have great communication and be a team player.

Skills and Requirements

5-14 years of experience within software development

Experience developing with ASP.NET, C#, windows applications

Experience developing applications using MVC, MVVM, and Entity framework

Experience with HTML, XML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and JQuery

Strong experience with Web API development and creating stored procedures -- this is only required for the backend heavy opening

Development experience in Oracle and MS SQL Server

Working knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies

Bachelor's degree Experience with Angular, CSS, and HTML5 null
