Report Developer

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Report Developer in Houston, Texas. As a part of our team, you will be instrumental in the design and development of corporate reports and dashboards, primarily utilizing Power BI. Your role will involve a significant amount of interaction with end-users, and the creation of technical documentation to support the tools and reports you develop.

Responsibilities

• Design and build dashboards and corporate reports based on end-user requirements using Power BI

• Create complex queries to extract and manipulate data for reporting purposes

• Assist end-users in understanding and utilizing developed dashboards and reports

• Create and maintain technical documentation for dashboards and reports, including user manuals and guides when necessary

• Utilize skills in Crystal Enterprise, Crystal Reports, Info View, Maximo, Microsoft Excel, About Time, Ad Hoc Reporting, Charts - Graphs, Create Dashboards, Credit Union Policy to perform job functions effectively

• Ensure all developed solutions are accurate, efficient, and meet the needs of the business and end-users

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver effective solutions

• Continuously explore new technologies and tools that can enhance reporting capabilities

• Effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences, both technical and non-technical. Requirements - Proficient in using Crystal Enterprise and Crystal Reports

• Familiarity with Info View and Maximo

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with About Time software

• Ability to perform Ad Hoc Reporting

• Knowledge in creating charts and graphs

• Experience in creating dashboards

• Understanding of Credit Union Policy

• Proficient in using Power BI

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
