Rotating Equipment Emissions Engineer

Our client, is seeking an emissions engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have Natural Gas Experience, Emissions experience and Engine Background which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Rotating Equipment Emissions Engineer

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $60-$75/hour

What's the Job?

• Review design/construction drawings for emissions reduction projects including PFDs, PIDs, and mechanical layout and sectional drawings.

• Review OEM drawings for combustion equipment. Specifically design maps, operating conditions, emissions, maintenance/auxiliary equipment requirements, exhaust systems, etc.

• Scope / Size heat exchangers, fuel skids and piping, overpressure protection devices, and filtration equipment.

• Support Operations personnel in maintenance work and the troubleshooting of issues at compression facilities. Specifically be able to identify and address issues with emissions control technology.

• Support emissions group on gas turbine and/or reciprocating engine emissions testing and issues.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering (mechanical preferred) from an accredited school of engineering.

• 5 years of natural gas pipeline compressor and/or engine experience

• Ability to take initiative and work with both company and non-company personnel to accomplish goals in a fast paced environment.

• Proclivity to engage operations and project management personnel in productive meetings to determine the best solutions for company.

• Proficient PC-based skills including MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Access)
