    Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Scheduling Specialist to join our team in the Washington, D.C. This position is fully remote.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Assists in tracking project schedule, cost, and technical performance.

    • Provides project-specific support by providing observations and recommendations on the project (e.g., impacts to schedules, impacts to budgets, possible impacts to other projects).

    • Creates, monitors, and analyzes project schedules in accordance with standard of best project practice.

    • Tracks, analyzes, and reports information appropriately to allow the project teams to manage their projects and evaluate weekly reports.

    • Ensures accuracy of project schedules and performed version control.

    • Co-ordinates project schedules, tasks, meeting updates, and efficient distribution of reports.

    • Prepares, implements, and monitor scopes of work using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for control and integrity.

    • Monitors projects' progress, including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts and progress achieved to date.

    • Supports project risk register to ensure that risks are effectively managed to minimize their impact on schedule, scope, and budget of projects.

    • Tracks baselines, performs what-if analyses, and develops contingency plans.

    • Develops conceptual models for Business Capability traceability matrix to explain processes to all levels of users.

    • Performs coordination of cross-functional departments to identify project issues, monitor action items, and work with the project manager to ensure resolution.

    • Develops, reviews, and provides technical inputs on pre-contractual documentation to include Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Strategy Plans, Program Management Plans, RFP components, Source Selection Plans, Contract Management Plans, Work Breakdown Schedules, Integrated Master Plans/Integrated Master Schedules for feasibility and completeness.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • A master's degree

    • A minimum of (10) ten years of related experience

    • Experience in complex Federal program schedule development and management.

    • Strong expertise in Microsoft Project and/or Primavera applications.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Federal systems acquisition experience on complex systems

    Clearance Requirements:

    • Must be a U.S. citizen

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

    • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

    • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
