The Sr. Business Analyst - IT is responsible for the coordination of key projects for IT applications. This position will work with managers and key end users to ensure overall quality and sustainability of business processes, business requirements, design support, interfacing, testing, implementation and knowledge transfer/training to end users for the company. Serves as subject matter expert for assigned applications.
Responsible for end user support and issue resolution for business processes supported by assigned applications.
Ensures quality and stability on large-scale projects through design support, testing and implementation.
Ensures end user acceptance through knowledge transfer and training support.
Works with business owners to ensure overall quality and maintainability of business processes associated with assigned applications.
Provides expertise to project teams for assigned applications.
Works closely with project teams in determining configuration requirements for assigned applications.
Develops conceptual design of interfaces & conversions, reports, forms, enhancements and custom transactions.
Performs unit and integration testing and develops related documentation.
Works closely with business units and project teams in order to keep abreast of business requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field is required. Previous relevant experience in Information Technology related duties may substitute for required degree.
Three (3) years' experience performing analysis, testing, and support for IT applications is required.
Minimal travel is required.
