    Senior Civil/Structural Engineer $97,150 to $155,000

    Job Description:

    The Seattle Office is seeking a Senior level Civil/Structural Engineer with experience in structural analysis and design of steel and concrete structures, enthusiasm for problem solving, attention to details, appreciation of teamwork, and responsibility to project commitments to join our growing practice.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Perform/review analysis and design of steel and concrete structures

    • Prepare/review design drawings, reports, and technical specifications

    • Maintain project communication with coworkers and clients

    • Responsible for project progress and task completion

    • Perform inspections of dams and hydraulic structures

    • Provide construction site observation and engineering services

    Required Skills/Experience:

    • BS in Civil/Structural Engineering

    • A licensed Civil/Structural Engineer

    • Analysis and design of steel and concrete structures

    • Responsible for completion of calculations, drawings, reports, etc.

    • Proficiency in computer-aided structural analysis, i.e. STAAD, SAP, ETAB, etc.

    • Proficiency with Excel and/or Mathcad as engineering calculation tools

    • Competent with ASCE, AISC, and ACI codes

    • Knowledge/understanding of FERC, USACE, USBR, FEMA, etc. guidelines/regulations

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills with coworkers and clients

    • Willingness to perform field work and travel as required by projects

    • Ability to negotiate at construction sites and practice site safety

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • MS or PhD Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

    • Ten or more years of engineering design experience in steel and concrete structures

    • Experience in dams or hydraulic structures

    • Prior construction support or field engineer experience

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and or Bluebeam

    Other Requirements:

    • Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check

    • Ability to pass a pre-employment screening
