Senior Electrical Engineer

· CoDeSys v2.3 or v3.5

• Recent Diesel engine interface controls experience

• BSEE or BSEET

• 10+ years of hands-on design experience of control systems programming

• Expertise in PLC programming

• Capable of independently creating complex PLC programs to process input data and control various systems

• Strong understanding of CAN-based communication systems and protocols (particularity SAE J1939 and CANopen)

• Experience with developing graphical user interfaces (GUI)

• Experience with leading the development of the controls software from concept thru field support

• Ability to understand existing systems and modify/add logic for new functionality

• Ability to diagnose complex control hardware and software issues and propose practical solutions

• Basic understanding of Ethernet protocol controlled devices

• Works well under pressure and tight deadlines

• Experience with and ability to perform basic electrical wiring as needed to program and test portions of the control system
