Senior Engineer

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a senior engineer for a large engineering consulting company in Roseville, CA. This position will be remote until they open their new office in the Roseville, CA area. This person should have a strong background in civil design specific to land development projects, including: hydrology/hydraulics, stormwater management, drainage, grading, etc. They will be responsible for preparing engineering designs into technical specifications as well as preparing construction drawings. Additionally, they will play a role in interacting with clients, working cross functionally with engineering teams to meet projects deadlines, and prepare/submit reports to clients/governing agencies.

Skills and Requirements

• 5-7+ years of civil engineering experience.

• Civil design experience - ability to identify design criteria, plan, and execute effective designs.

• Experience with design specific to land development (hydrology, drainage, stormwater management)

• Experience with Civil 3D and Bluebeam.

• Experience preparing and transforming design into technical specifications.

• Experience working with clients and sub-consultants.

• Experience performing construction drawings.

• Strong time management skills.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. PE/EIT license

experience in hydrology and drainage software including CivilDesign, Hydrocalc, SWMM, routing software, and others. null
