    SAIC is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Enterprise Architect with a strong background in AWS, exceptional leadership abilities, excellent soft skills, hands-on experience in communicating with business users, product owners, and business architects, and a demonstrated ability to create Technical Recommendations and high-level design documents.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Enterprise Architecture: Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, ensuring it supports the organization's current and future needs.

    2. AWS Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and be able to design, implement, and optimize AWS solutions that meet the organization's technical requirements.

    3. Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to the architecture team, guiding them in the development of architectural solutions and best practices.

    4. Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute technology strategies that support business growth and innovation.

    5. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including executives, business units, business users, product owners, and IT teams, to understand their needs and ensure architectural solutions align with business objectives.

    6. Solutioning: Work closely with business users, product owners, and business architects to understand their current challenges and pain points, and help in solutioning by translating business requirements into technical solutions.

    7. Roadmap Creation: Create roadmaps that outline the steps and milestones needed to implement architectural solutions and address business challenges effectively.

    8. Technical Documentation: Develop Technical Recommendations and high-level design documents that provide clear guidance on technology solutions, including architecture, components, and integration strategies.

    9. Technical Oversight: Oversee the technical aspects of projects, ensuring they adhere to architectural standards and best practices.

    10. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate architectural risks and issues, ensuring the stability and security of systems and applications.

    11. Vendor Management: Evaluate and select third-party solutions and vendors, ensuring they align with the enterprise architecture.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (4 years experience in lieu of degree

    • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect with a minimum of 9 years of experience.

    • U.S. Citizenship required for Public Trust

    • Strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS).

    • Hands-on experience in communicating with business users, product owners, and business architects.

    • Demonstrated ability to create Technical Recommendations and high-level design documents.

    • Experience with cloud-native architecture and microservices is a plus.

    • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in enterprise architecture

    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

    Target salary range: $150,001 - $175,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
