    IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE: :

    • Lead the design and development of complex electronic systems, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection.

    • Conduct feasibility studies and design analysis to evaluate system performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware engineers, and product owners, to define requirements and specifications.

    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, guiding them through the design process and fostering their professional growth.

    • Drive the resolution of technical challenges and implement innovative solutions to optimize product performance and efficiency.

    • Perform thorough testing and validation to ensure adherence to design requirements and industry standards.

    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in electronics design and engineering, and incorporate them into design processes.

    FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar Engineering degree and 4 years of related experience or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical master's degree and 3 year of related experience.

    • Proficiency in using CAD development tools for schematic design and simulation, such as Altium Designer.

    • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles, including signal integrity, power management, and EMC/EMI considerations.

    • Experience with simulation tools such as ModelSim or HyperLynx.

    • Familiarity with common laboratory instruments for testing and troubleshooting electronic circuits.

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    • Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

    • Hands-on experience with firmware development for board bring-up and system integration.

    • Knowledge of FPGA design principles and experience in implementing FPGA-based solutions.

    • Experience in design and testing for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance.

    • Familiarity with design requirements for compliance with industrial electronics safety standards.

    • Proficiency in performing failure mode effect analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate potential design risks.

    • Understanding of common electronics manufacturing processes and best practices.

    • Familiarity with DeltaV or other process control systems.
