Lead Java Developer

Job Description

A large financial organization is seeking a Lead Java Developer to work hybrid onsite in Cincinnati Ohio. This individual will be a member of an agile squad, responsible for rewriting an internal application that allows bankers and tellers to view and edit customer account information. This will include implementing new features, writing new web/micro services and enabling capabilities for an internal application. They will adhere to practices and standards, set by communities of practice, and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement. Shares responsibility and accountability for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Doing the right thing for customers and colleagues ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

. Implement new features while maintaining overall quality of software

. Contribute to a culture of learning by documenting and sharing technical knowledge as a developer on an agile squad

. Participate in developer communities of practice by following best practices, participating in code reviews, and sharing knowledge

. Remain current on relevant technology trends

. Participate in researching and resolving customer issues

Skills and Requirements

10+ years of Java Development experience (must have used Java 8 or newer)

5+ years of experience with SpringBoot

5+ years of experience with relational databases

Git or github

Agile Scrum project methodology

Experience designing, developing, and consuming web and microservices, and APIs (REST, SOAP, and/or message-driven) Docker

Kubernetes

Cloud, preferably AWS

Terraform null
