As a vital member of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) team, you'll lead the specification and implementation of cutting-edge networking components, ensuring they align with our engineering standards.

    How You'll Create Possibilities

    Specifically, you'll be part of the Industry 4.0 team, tasked with designing, procuring, and integrating cyber-physical systems, leveraging controls, robotics, and quality verification equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Spearheading system deployments within manufacturing facilities, adhering to cybersecurity best practices.

    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams like Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, EHS, DT, Product Design, and Quality.

    • Keeping abreast of market trends and recommendations for factory network design and cybersecurity risk mitigation.

    • Evaluating solutions from various vendors for feasibility and scalability.

    • Mentoring operational personnel on cyber policies and risk mitigation strategies.

    • Developing and enhancing network security standards tailored for manufacturing factory networks.

    • Conducting regular audits to assess compliance and risks, driving corrective actions to enhance our factory's risk posture.

    What You'll Bring to Our Team

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, or equivalent.

    • 5+ years of experience in network design and administration

    • Proficiency in fieldbus network architectures and protocols like Ethernet/IP, PROFINET.

    • Strong understanding of industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA.

    • Experience deploying and configuring network security solutions such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation.

    • Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations.

    • Creative thinking and a practical approach to developing future cyber systems.

    • Excellent project tracking and planning skills.

    • The ability to work effectively in large cross-functional teams and at multiple levels within the organization.

    • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to provide status reports and train other engineers.

    • Demonstrated ownership of cross-functional program deliverables and the ability to make decisions for the company's benefit.

    Travel:

    • This role may require occasional travel to satellite facilities for equipment deployment activities.
