A national food & beverage company is looking for an experienced engineer to join their network security team. In this role you will be assisting with a broad spectrum of network security related topics in both on-prem & cloud networks including firewall (Palo Alto Strongly preferred) deployment and configuration, DNS Security, web access proxies, URL Filtering, VPN, and authentication/authorization. Any higher-level experience with design/architecture, threat research, or risk management is a plus.

Fully on-site in Irving, Texas

Contract Duration: 12 Months Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in networking & network security

• Experience with core network security technologies & techniques

• Firewalls (Ideally Palo Alto)

• Cloud Networks

• DNS

• Threat research

• Vulnerability management

• VPN Connectivity

• Network Access Control

• At least one vendor-specific network certification (PCNSE, CCNA, etc)

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, networking, computer science, or similar

• Other relevant certifications (Security+, GSEC, CC, etc)
