    Senior Reverse Engineer

    Senior Reverse Engineer

    We are currently seeking individuals with extensive experience in reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis to join our team in Beavercreek, Ohio. The position is for engineers who can conduct vulnerability analysis of complex and diverse software systems and network architectures. Applicants should be experts in binary disassembly and software vulnerabilities and be proficient in application development practices. We are seeking applicants who can deliver innovative solutions and work in an environment that encourages agile, mission-driven approaches that deliver valuable results through efficient means to their customers. Activities include binary analysis, reverse engineering, protocol research, software development, and system engineering.

    Responsibilities

    • Setup and configure software and hardware environments

    • Perform static and dynamic analysis on software and/or hardware

    • Perform both host and network-based characterization of artifacts

    • Direct the development of novel/custom tools and techniques

    • Direct the development of tools and proof-of-concepts to showcase findings

    • Prepare technical reports for customer detailing methodologies and findings

    • Task and mentor junior and mid-level engineers

    • Communicate project status and updates with customer and provide presentations when necessary

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in a relevant technical field

    • Multiple years of experience performing the duties of a reverse engineer

    • Ability to work with Linux and Windows based operating systems

    • Strong knowledge with C, C++, one or more assembly languages (x86, x64, ARM, MIPS, PPC)

    • Strong knowledge in reverse engineering toolsets (IDA, Ghidra, Wireshark)

    • Strong knowledge of network design and protocols

    • Experience with Linux, Windows, and embedded operating systems

    • Technical writing and verbal communications skills are a significant plus

    • Experience managing customer relations

    • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
