    Robert Bosch LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer at its facility located at 28875 Cabot Dr, Novi, MI 48377. Supports development teams in designing, maintaining and developing software for driver assistance systems. Manages Software project and component development. Coordinates the activities across engineering teams to develop software in accordance with defined processes such as requirements management, concept and design review, implementation, component and system test, release for prototype, baseline, sample, or series. Organizes and leads customer discussions focused around technical proposals, solutions and execution. Prepares effort estimations for customer studies and production development. Supports team members in lab and/or vehicle. Works with managers to assess resource capacity and assigns work packages to team members accordingly. Interfaces with customer and resolves software related issues. Supports quality checks such as milestone reviews and quality assessments. Adheres to quality initiatives such as defect monitoring, and risk assessments. Reports status to line management. 10% domestic and international travel. REQS: This position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, plus 5 years of work experience with embedded systems in the automotive industry. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1.) Automotive domains such as active safety, braking and driver assistance systems of varying scope; (2.) Coordinating and overseeing embedded software and systems projects to realize active safety or driver assistance functions for production vehicles, involving multidisciplinary teams across multiple regions; (3.) Software development using Model based and/or C language; (4.) Vehicle electrical architectures and standards such as CAN and AUTOSAR; and (5.) Requirements Management and analysis for automotive domains such as active safety, braking and driver assistance systems. Apply below.
