    Oshkosh is looking for a highly motivated individual who would be responsible for ensuring high quality embedded software is developed for Oshkosh Vehicles. In this role you will be responsible for various aspects of the software development lifecycle including defining scope, estimating work, developing architecture and design, and verification.

    YOUR IMPACT

    • Lead cross-functional team in development of vehicle control systems

    • Use development tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket/Git to manage work and collaborate with other teams.

    • Drive the design, development and verification of software for Oshkosh vehicles.

    • Develop and maintain Structure and Behavioral diagrams

    • Responsible for the development and maintenance of software requirement documents

    • Perform design analysis to ensure a robust software design

    • Coordinate and maintain schedule for software development activities

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field

    • Experience with multiple domain system design

    • Ability to interact with multiple engineering disciplines

    • Understanding of J1939

    • Understanding of vehicle systems

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skill

    • Ability to complete tasking independently with minimal direct supervision and work effectively within a multi-disciplined engineering team.

    STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3-5 years of experience in related field

    • Experience with Requirements Management tools

    • CompTIA Security+ CE or CISSP

    • Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, QNX, WindRiver etc.)

    • Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies
