    Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer. This position will be located in Huntsville, Alabama but could also be located in Roy, Utah or Colorado Springs, Colorado and will support the Strategic Deterrent Systems Division to include the Sentinel (GBSD) program.

    What you'll get to do:

    • Work with both the Program and lower-level Element Teams to develop and mature architecture content.

    • Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and make sure that that they are properly represented in the model.

    • Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical)

    • Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts

    • Contribute to system requirements development and analysis

    • Communicate and train other systems engineering teams on modeling procedures

    • Take content through the configuration management

    • Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration)

    This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

    Job Qualifications:

    You'll Bring These Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor's Degree and (appropriate years of experience based off level - education & experience below):

    • level 2- must have 2 years of related engineering experience; 0 years with Master's degree (at least 1 degree must be STEM discipline)

    • level 3/Principal must have 5 years of related engineering experience; 0 years with Master's degree (at least 1 degree must be STEM discipline)

    • US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

    These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

    • Active DoD Secret clearance, granted or re-investigated within last 6 years with ability to obtain Special Program Access

    • Experience modeling with Cameo Enterprise Architecture or MagicDraw (No Magic, Inc.) or other architecture modeling tools

    • Experience with DoDAF and UPDM or UAF Profiles

    • Experience using DOORS (IBM Rational)

    • Experience with complex system development on large programs

    • Experience with flight hardware

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written

    Salary Range: $71,100.00 - $112,300.00Salary Range 2: $87,600.00 - $138,400.00

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
