SharePoint Engineer

Job Description

A leading hospital system sitting in New York City is seeking a SharePoint Engineer to join their Digital Solutions development team. This individual will be supporting the development efforts to build the new hospitals SharePoint Online intranet portal application. This application is fully up and running, they are creating new sights, signing permissions & creating custom web parts. In addition, they are working towards migrating on prem SharePoint to cloud SharePoint. This individual should have a strong idea of the agile/scrum process & experience working with an agile team of developers, product managers and QA's to build out new features and optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web capable device and browsers.

Skills and Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience working on the Microsoft SharePoint platform developing custom solutions, working with server-side object model (Master pages, Page Layouts, Event Receivers, Timer job, visual web parts)

- Experience working with SharePoint Search Customization using display templates.

- Experience working with SPFx framework (on-premises and online).

- In Depth knowledge of frontend web technologies and standards (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, RESTful web services) with ability to troubleshoot issues.
