    As a GSE Technician, you will

    • Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in nonfunctioning equipment used in the manufacturing process.

    • Dismantle, adjust, repair, and install/assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, and rough sketches or drawings.

    • Perform setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance on production equipment, and coordinate with supplier for service and repairs where needed.

    • Monitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool/module related issues.

    • Create reports of system failures, update existing specs, and create new specs that supports overall equipment maintenance/performance.

    • Work with Module Engineering to execute experiments and equipment configuration changes, support data collection activities, and generally complete tasks per published procedures.

    • Support Engineering with module equipment troubleshooting through data analysis and controlled experimentation that will meet or improve module availability and performance targets preventing future excursions. During factory ramps, work with module engineering and construction teams to ensure tools are installed and/or converted per designs.

    Qualifications

    Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

    Additional notes

    • The candidate must be able to start within 6 months of receiving the offer.

    • This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Candidates must meet one of the following minimum requirements

    • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or Mechanical/Technical Certification or equivalent;

    OR

    • 3+ years of equivalent military training;

    OR

    • 12+ months of Semiconductor experience as a Maintenance, Manufacturing or Process Technician.

    Candidates must be willing to:

    • Work a 12 hour compressed work week shift. Shift alternates between three and four day work weeks. Scheduled Shift 5 (front-end days. 7:00 AM-7:30 PM Sun-Tues and alternating Wednesday days

    • ?Work in a clean room / Subfab environment, wearing supplied airline/facemask as required, safety glasses and gloves for the majority (more than 90 percent, less break time) of daily shifts.

    • Walk 5-10 miles in a 12-hour shift and standing/sitting for 9 hours.

    • Lift up to 25lbs.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Hands-on mechanical experience
