    CACI is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support the U.S. Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. You will be part of an integrated team to maintain effectiveness in defeating worldwide electronic warfare and signals threats while using your problem-solving skills and able to work with a team while in support of on-going projects managed from the Communications Electronic Command Software Engineering Center's Army Reprogramming Analysis Team (ARAT) Program Office. If you have a background Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline with a desire to work on a critical large-scale contract we would like to speak with you.

    What You'll Get to Do:

    • Able to write Configuration Management (CM) Plans and audit software change procedures, software development, software testing, and software documentation to verify compliance with software CM plans and procedures.

    • Participate in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system.

    • Coordinate and maintain configuration management activities related to identification, control, audit and status accounting for software and documentation for systems under ARAT Configuration Management control.

    • Responsible for supporting software version control, builds and releases utilizing configuration management tool such as KONFIG, Team Foundation Server, Microsoft Sharepoint, or Serena Version Manager.

    • Maintain the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) for assigned projects.

    • Establish and maintain procedures to implement and process engineering documents for all assigned projects to ensure compliance with policies and scheduling requirements.

    • Review and analyze change request and coordinate changes with engineering and quality assurance to ensure compliance with customer requirements and ARAT policy.

    • Track and maintain the software change request log.

    • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of change control processes, including the conduct of Configuration Control Boards for ARAT and maintain related version and revision controls to documents and software.

    • Create software builds for release.

    • Maintain status accounting records for assigned projects.

    • Direct and conduct CM audits and reviews.

    • Serve as the focal point for control, storage, retrieval, processing and delivery of customer data.

    • Understand the relationship of the basic CM functions and must be able to integrate them within the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) process improvement model.

    More About the Role

    The primary focus of this position is to provide Process and Product Quality Assurance audit support for all Army Reprogramming Analysis Team (ARAT) supported systems. This position provides management structure and processes support for conducting audits on all work performed. Additional responsibilities include providing technical support during product reviews and making recommendations for corrective action for all ARAT programs.

    You'll Bring These Qualifications:

    • An active DoD Secret Level Clearance.

    • A bachelor's degree in a Technical discipline is required.

    • At least 5 years of experience.

    • Experience writing Configuration Management (CM) Plans and audit software change procedures, software development, software testing, and software documentation to verify compliance with software CM plans and procedures.

    • Capable of participating in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system.

    • Experience with code management, audits, baseline identification, and preparation and control of documentation for software projects.

    • Experience writing Quality Assurance (QA) Plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and audit documentation and processes, witness software testing, and verify compliance with software QA plans and procedures.

    • Experience executing QA plans in accordance with defined requirements and parameters.

    • Experience with participating in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system.

    • Experience working on QA of code management, audits, baseline identification, and preparation and control of documentation for software projects.

    • Experience providing process and product QA audits to staff and management with objective insight into processes and associated work products.

    • Ability to validate and verify hardware and software requirements and deliverables.

    • Experience documenting and adjudicating test defects and anomalies.

    • Experience conducting annual reviews of QA process instructions and documentation.

    $61,600 - 129,300 USD
