Software Engineer

Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Software Engineer in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The role involves determining operational feasibility by evaluating problem definitions, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions in the telecom industry.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate operational feasibility by analyzing problem definitions and requirements

• Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes

• Investigate problem areas by following the software development lifecycle

• Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming

• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures

• Protect operations by keeping information confidential

• Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues

• Accomplish engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed

• Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment

• Participate in educational opportunities, read professional publications, maintain personal networks, and participate in professional organizations

Requirements

• Proficiency in R Code is essential for this role.

• Must possess strong skills in Application Development.

• Knowledge and experience in .NET and .NET Framework are required.

• Ability to propose effective software solutions is vital.

• Experience in Solution Development is necessary.

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Familiarity with software development methodologies and lifecycle.

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals.

• Proven track record in software engineering best practices.

• Must be authorized to work in the location specified in the job posting.
