    Responsibilities

    • Ship quality, well-tested, secure, and maintainable code

    • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with engineering and product teams.

    • Architect, design, and develop large scale distributed software services and solutions in collaboration with teammates.

    • Participate in the definition of key scenarios, use cases, and end-user experiences

    • Design services with a focus on high availability and scalability, robustness, and observability.

    • Drive long-term design thinking for systems and engineering processes with simplicity and maintainability as core tenets

    • Take end-to-end responsibility for the development, observability, quality, testing, and production readiness of the services you build.

    • Develop "best-in-class" engineering for our services by ensuring that the services and the components are well-defined and modularized, secure, reliable, reusable, diagnosable, and actively monitored

    • Mentor and develop engineers across all levels through sharing and learning

    Qualifications

    **Required Qualifications:??** ?

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

    • OR equivalent experience.

    Preferred Qualifications: ??

    • Experience in theoretical fundamentals including, but not limited to: data structures, algorithms, time complexity and space complexity, multi-threaded architecture etc.

    • 3+ years of professional experience designing and building software

    • 3+ years of experience building microservices/distributed systems and applications

    • 3+ years' experience in an object-oriented programming language.

    Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
