Solutions Architect

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Solutions Architect to work remotely for a client based out of the Kansas City area. You will be working on a team of 11 other solutions architects both onshore and offshore. You will be tasked with managing the lifecycle of solutions from ideation and design to implementation. You will be collaborating with business stakeholders, the UX team, integration team, data teams, and other partners to convert complex requirements and visions into actionable and detailed technology solution roadmaps. Once those roadmaps are designed, you will hand them off to the technical architect who will create the low level design. As this is a greenfield project, you will champion a structured approach to the development of business application solutions to ensure alignment of both strategic goals and IT standards. In this role it would be expected for you to assist in the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, updates, replacements or decommissioning options considering business and technology productivity, usability and total cost of ownership.

Skills and Requirements

9+ years of experience in IT with a minimum of 3 years in a Solutions Architect Role

Demonstrated ability to manage the full lifecycle of solution development from ideation through implementation.

Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of front-end (multi-channel: web, mobile, IVR, chat, APIs) and back-end technologies, integration frameworks & patterns, API standards, data management and governance, various cloud technologies, and IT security standards.

Experience in establishing or contributing to an IT architecture practice, including the adoption of architecture and standards

Hands-on experience with integration frameworks & patterns, API standards, data management and governance, cloud technologies, and IT security standards.

Familiarity with a broad range of technologies and tools:

React Native, React JS, ~~~, IBM CP4I, Azure Events Hub, Kubernetes, Azure Cloud services, Auth0, Snowflake, and ADLS.

Must be comfortable working flexible hours Experience in working with various banking solutions (Online Banking, Cards, KYX, Monitoring, Money movement) is highly desirable.
