  • Software Development Engineer in Test - Thermal Control Systems

    • 3+ years of relevant experience as a Validation or Software QA Engineer.

    • Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and testing tools.

    • Experience developing and understanding test automation frameworks and libraries using scripting or other languages: Python, Perl, Ruby, JavaScript, Objective C, etc.

    • Hands on experience testing consumer products in lab environment, thermal control systems related experience is a plus.

    • Experience in developing test plan, assessing risk, filing appropriate defects, and providing relevant data for test reporting.

    • Ability to make data driven decisions on a regular basis

    • Ability to work cross-functionally, with strong organizational and communication skills


    • Define, implement, and run tests to validate Hardware/Software for Thermal Control Systems on Apple products. - Analyze automation test results for failures, identifying issue trends, and quantifying impact. - Isolate and report defects effectively quantifying customer impact, and verify fixes through regression testing and other test methodologies. - Bring up new automation framework, maintain existing framework, develop new automated test cases and data analysis tools to analyze large data set and represent meaningful data in the form of charts and graphs. - Work closely and collaborate with cross functional team members.

    Education & Experience

    Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

    Additional Requirements

    • Nice to have:

      • Understanding of Cellular Radio Technologies (5G NR, LTE etc)
      • Exposure to commercial test systems like Keysight, R&S callboxes etc for lab validation.
      • Experience with visualization tools to analyze large data sets
