    1. Manage SQL Server databases and other RDBMS through different product lifecycles from development to mission-critical production systems.

    2. Install, Configure, and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.

    3. Migrate/convert databases from current MS SQL server versions to higher versions (upgrade)

    4. Execute & maintain SQL scripts and utility jobs for MS SQL database maintenance.

    5. Implement & manage MS SQL database backups and restore, clustering, always on, failover and load balancing technologies.

    6. Perform DB refreshes in various Test/Dev environments.

    7. Monitor database status, logs, space utilization, extents, locks, blockings and deadlocks and clear them accordingly.

    8. Implement and support MS SQL (Active/Passive & Active/Active), Multi Node Clustering for multiple node clusters

    9. Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.

    10. Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.

    11. Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.

    12. Perform all other DB related tasks and activities as assigned.

    13. Perform health check for Windows servers and SQL DBs, and troubleshoot abnormalities.

    14. Configure and maintain DB maintenance plans for DB backup and recovery.

    15. Configure and maintain DB Transactional Replications.

    16. Configure and maintain Always On Availability Group (AAG).

    Requirements :

    1. Experience with PowerShell and Command Line Commands

    2. Expertise in database administration on SQL Server

    3. Expert ability to analyze and define database and security requirements

    4. Minimum 8 years' experience in SQL Server 2008/17

    5. Experience with IIS and Service Accounts

    6. Experience with Windows Server

    7. Experience working with and supporting Agile processing

    8. Ability to work in a team environment supporting various groups and user types

    9. Ability to communicate complex ideas verbally and in a written format

    10. Successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a Government Clearance.
