    Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this vital role you will be an integral member of our Engineering Automation team. You will have the exciting opportunity to support our manufacturing systems automation initiatives that require a solid understanding of analytical problem-solving techniques, project management, lifecycle management, and operational excellence.

    Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to

    • Provide operational shift support for process control applications applying Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems (SCADA), Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), collaborative robotics (Cobots), vision systems.

    • Apply engineering principles of manufacturing process automation to provide technical support to manufacturing production.

    • Implement control system troubleshooting support to Manufacturing Operations.

    • Implement automated process changes to improved equipment performance or upgraded equipment technologies.

    • Participate in technical root cause analysis, incident investigations, and troubleshooting on process control issues related to electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.

    • Administer Manufacturing Production Systems in a GMP regulated manufacturing setting.

    • Implement Preventative and Corrective maintenance.

    • Ensure strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain accurate GMP documentation following ALCOA+ principles.

    • Support project management efforts for automation-related projects.

    • Handle Automation Systems lifecycle including controlled changes, software versioning, and control system qualification. Ensure all changes are properly documented and approved.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Master's degree

    OR

    Bachelor's degree and 2 years of automation experience

    Or

    Associate's degree and 6 years of automation experience

    Or

    High school diploma / GED and 8 years of automation support experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical field with 2 years of manufacturing support experience.

    • Ability to read and update electrical design packages including User Requirements (URS), Functional Specifications (FS), Design Specifications (DS), wiring diagrams, and P&ID.

    • Proficient in PLC Controller and HMI programming skills (preferred Allen Bradley, Siemens).

    • Strong technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.

    • Project Management and implementation experience.

    • Flexibility to work nonstandard shifts to support 24/7 operations.

    • Experience working with Batch Process Control and recipe management.

    • Experince in packaging equipment vision systems (Cognex, Deep learning, Systech, Keyence) and serialization process.

    • Expertise in distributed I/O configuration, industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP,), Rockwell Automation (Factory Talk, ControlLogix PLC, FTView SE, FTBatch, PanelView Plus), OSI PI Historian System, Siemens TIA Portal (HMI, S7 Controllers), and a background in system integration.
