    As a System Compatibility Senior Manager in the DRAM Engineering Group at Micron, you will lead a team responsible for early validation of our DRAM products with our customers' newest technology. This role will be responsible for engineering development, operations focused on DRAM memory system validation, system lab ownership, and close engagement with external system enablers.

    To accomplish these responsibilities, you will work closely with leaders and management across multiple sites. You will need to coach and lead engineering development/failure debug, project/test planning and long term strategic direction. This role will work broadly across our Systems Solutions Engineering Group as well as multi-functional teams including Application Engineering Groups, Product Engineering, Return Material Authorization (RMA), and throughout Micron.

    You will also work closely with external system enablers for early development and qualification of system and memory products. On occasion, we may need to travel to carry out responsibilities at a customer site or for development with our partner companies. Lastly, the seniority level offered will be based on a combination of experience and education.

    What's Encouraged Daily:

    • Manage daily and strategic needs for system compatibility lab including engineering, lab management, operations, and external customer engagements

    • Bring together and share best-practice knowledge among the system and memory testing community

    • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, managers, multi-discipline engineers and developers.

    • Lead groups, with diverse interests and requirements, to achieve business objectives.

    • Hire, on-board, train, and develop new team members from internal and external sources.

    How To Qualify:

    • Experience hiring, developing, and leading all levels of technical experts.

    • Experience/Understanding of system hardware and equipment: X86, ARM, Computer, System, DRAM, Intel, AMD, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, motherboard

    • Experience/Understanding BIOS/Software: Python, Linux, SQL, C#, C++, BIOS

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or computer engineering

    What Sets You Apart:

    • 10+ years of relevant proven experience

    • Experience with leadership in the areas of computer systems and/or DRAM operation

    • Demonstrable history of adapting to new technologies and learning quickly.

    The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

    $129,000.00 - $276,000.00

    Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
